Firefighting Product Shipping and Handling


  • Some items we keep in stock, some items may require longer lead times;
  • Delivery on orders placed that are in stock normally take 7-10 business days, subject to change depending on location and other factors;
  • UPS Ground is used for most orders, unless otherwise requested - calculate estimated transit time here.  US Mail may be used for smaller packages;
  • Physical or street address MUST be provided at time of order in order for item purchased to be shipped, UPS does not ship to PO Boxes;
  • Expedited Delivery can be requested at time of purchase but will be subject to increased rates;
  • We will do our best to notify you of any delays or backorders on items purchased;
  • Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will not get processed until Monday;



  • We only ship within the United States! For more information on international shipments, please contact us via email at;
  • Customers located in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico may experience increased shipping times and rates;



  • Next day delivery must be requested by 12:00 noon Pacific Time;
  • Any orders placed after this time on Friday will not be processed until the following Monday;
  • Express shipping options do not include the actual pick up day or weekends - for example, if you request 3 day shipping on Thursday, you may probably not receive your item until the end of the day on the following Tuesday;
  • Express delivery rates will be higher than standard shipping rates;



Depending on the weight and dimensions of a product, additional shipping charges may apply.  For heavier or larger items only, please submit a freight request quote and we will research a less expensive shipping rate/option for you (we have indicated those products that may require freight rate assistance in our online store).  All other items will be subject to standard shipping rate options.



In the case of multiple items ordered at one time, and one or more of those items is currently out of stock (we will notify you when items are out of stock), our policy is to ship the order complete.  This may delay shipping of the in-stock items.  If you request that we split the order and ship all available items immediately, you will incur shipping charges for each shipment sent.



All sales are FOB Origin unless otherwise specified.  We will ship your order by the most economical method  from the point of shipment.

Any additional charges incurred for services such as insurance or special handling are to be paid by the consignee.  If the product appears to be damaged in transit i.e. visual damage to the box or contents, the consignee should not sign for the shipment and have it returned to Type One Incident Support.  If this is not possible, please contact us immediately.

If the product does not arrive within a few days of the scheduled delivery date, please notify Type One Incident Support within 10 days and we will resolve the situation.

We do not ship orders on federally recognized holidays.
